A Call to Teach

I received my “call” to teach/minister from God in 1996 while living in Florida.  I did not accept the call right away for lack of understanding and fear.  It wasn’t until 2000 that I began to accept it. My primary calling is to teach Jesus, who is the Word of God and to edify His Body, the Church.  As a follower, teacher, and preacher of Christ my duty is by Him, to Him, and for Him.  I am to think, speak, live, and act entirely for Him.  I am His Ambassador; for I am not my own I was bought with a price, His precious blood.  Jesus alone is my instructor and vindicator when it comes to teaching His almighty Word.

Indicative of the name of the church, “The All Sum'ness of God Christian Church” my burden is to teach that He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation and that all things was created by Him and for Him.  For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. “I believe that Jesus Christ is not valued at all until He’s valued above all”.

My calling is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission. I've been charged to increase awareness of God’s presence and to celebrate God’s love through praise and worship, help people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care by teaching and serving, to be a good neighbor to people in need, and to make more followers of Jesus Christ through Evangelism.  To put it bluntly, I have been called to be a Matthew 25:35-36 disciple of Jesus Christ, to serve and worship Him only in spirit and in truth.
